Brazil GDP Growth

Vanguard says Brazil’s growth is moderating, creating room for additional rate cuts, although persistent inflation and fiscal uncertainty should keep easing cautious. It expects 2.2% GDP growth in 2026, with risks tilted to the downside.

BBVA expects Brazil’s growth to slow to 2.1% in 2026 and 1.8% in 2027, citing tight monetary conditions, possible agricultural weakness and eventual fiscal consolidation. It says the post-election political environment will shape the outlook and downside risks.
